About McKayla
McKayla brings over a decade of personal experience within the recovery community. In 2021, she began facilitating groups with at-risk high school students in her hometown, which inspired her to pursue a career in addiction counseling. By 2022, she transitioned into the field as a case manager, gaining experience across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, while also collaborating closely with local police departments and schools.
In April 2024, McKayla earned her LADC II and has since continued to advance her education in human services and somatic therapy. Her work reflects a strong commitment to meeting people where they are, helping them recognize their strengths, and creating opportunities for healing and long-term change. She is passionate about integrating traditional clinical practices with holistic approaches that support both mental health and overall well-being.
Outside of her professional role, McKayla values time with her daughters and family. She also enjoys working out and maintaining her own health and wellness, which she sees as an extension of the balance and self-care she encourages in others. Her personal dedication to growth, resilience, and physical wellness allows her to lead by example and inspire those she works with to pursue healthier, more fulfilling lives.
